General Laborer - Room to Grow + Shift Differential Pay
About The Position
JMS Turning Point Division is seeking full-time General Laborers for the Bailey Mine Preparation Plant in the Graysville, Pennsylvania area. Day- and night-shift positions are available, and training is provided. The work includes keeping plant walkways and catwalks clear, removing coal and coal dust, and performing general labor and maintenance as needed. MSHA surface training and a site tour will be provided. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts followed by three days off. Day shift is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; night shift is 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Work schedules run Tuesday night through Saturday morning or Saturday night through Wednesday morning. Overtime is available. The listed pay is $22–$23 per hour, with a potential $1-per-hour raise after 90 days pending a performance review.
Requirements
- Complete MSHA surface training and a site tour; these will be provided.
- Be able to work full shifts, including required weekends and holidays.
- Pass a background check, drug and alcohol testing, and a hair follicle test.
- Provide a hard hat, reflective vest or shirt, and metatarsal boots; these are not provided.
- Be comfortable working at moderate heights and in tight spaces.
Responsibilities
