General Laborer - Room to Grow + Shift Differential Pay
About The Position
JMS Turning Point Division is seeking full-time General Laborers for the Bailey Mine Preparation Plant in the Graysville, Pennsylvania area. Day and night shifts are available, and training is provided. The role offers competitive pay and benefits, including a $1.00-per-hour raise after 90 days, pending a performance review. The work schedule follows a four-on, three-off rotation with 10-hour shifts. Day shifts run from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; night shifts run from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Rotations are Tuesday night through Saturday morning or Saturday night through Wednesday morning. Overtime is available.
Requirements
- MSHA Surface Training and a site tour are required; training will be provided.
- Able to work full shifts, including required weekends and holidays.
- Able to pass a background check, drug and alcohol testing, and a hair follicle test.
- Comfortable working at moderate heights and in tight spaces.
- Must have a hard hat, reflective vest or shirt, and metatarsal boots; these are not provided.
Responsibilities
- Keep walkways and catwalks clear of debris.
- Hose and shovel coal and coal dust in the preparation plant, transfer buildings, and silos.
- Perform general labor and maintenance work as needed.
