About The Position

This is a full-time non-exempt hourly position. The role involves sorting tubing, assisting forklift drivers, attaching identifying tags, and reading work orders to understand assignments. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to safety protocols including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining personal appearance are also key aspects of the role. All duties as assigned.

• Regularly required to walk and stand on their feet eight (8) to twelve (12) hours per day.
• Frequently required to use hands to portion, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance.
• Occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Must regularly lift, pull push, carry, and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down.
• Ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without "giving out" or fatiguing.
• Ability to quickly move hand, hand together with arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Sort tubing before loading and unloading.
• Help forklift driver move and stack tubing from racks and trucks.
• Attach identifying tags to tubing or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to reflect a positive image of themselves and the company.
• Participate in mandatory safety or PPE training and notify their supervisor when new PPE is necessary.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and groomed personal appearance to reflect a positive image of themselves and the company.
• All duties as assigned.
