About The Position

The General Laborer supports the preparation and production of prestressed concrete products at FINFROCK. The role involves handling concrete, rebar, cables, forms, molds, and reinforcement components; performing basic physical labor; and maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area. The position requires following supervisor directions and FINFROCK safety standards, including wearing the personal protective equipment required for the work area. Required PPE may include boots, a hardhat, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and a dust mask.

This is a full-time position with normal hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., though hours may vary. Depending on the work area and production needs, shifts may begin early in the morning or at night and may include overtime or weekends.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working with concrete.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Comfort working in various weather conditions.
• Ability to climb onto trailers and work at heights.
• Ability to read or learn to read instructions on a tablet.
• Reliably follow directions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of prestressed concrete products.
• Handle concrete, rebar, cables, and other materials used in production.
• Set up forms, molds, and reinforcement components as directed by the supervisor.
• Lift, move, and position materials as part of general labor duties.
• Clean and maintain molds, tools, and equipment to ensure proper function.
• Assist in dismantling forms after concrete has set.
• Adhere to FINFROCK safety standards and use the personal protective equipment required for the work area.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe working environment.
