About The Position

The General Laborer supports commercial mechanical construction projects as part of the Field Mobilization Team. The role helps prepare job sites, move materials, and assist skilled trades while contributing to safe, organized, and successful project work. Work takes place primarily on commercial construction sites across varying locations and involves exposure to weather, noise, dust, and typical construction conditions. The employee must be comfortable working in all weather conditions on active sites and traveling to multiple job sites daily. The schedule is weekdays, with potential for early starts, overtime, or occasional weekends.

Requirements

• Dependable and hardworking, with a strong work ethic.
• Able to perform physical work, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Team-oriented attitude.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet insurance requirements to operate a company vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Construction or trade experience is a plus, but not required.
• Commercial construction experience.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Forklift, scissor lift, or aerial lift experience.
• Familiarity with mechanical construction tools and materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job site setup and breakdown, including temporary facilities, fencing, and safety signage.
• Load, unload, move, and stage mechanical materials and equipment.
• Support HVAC, plumbing, and pipefitting crews with general labor tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Assist with material deliveries, inventory, and tool tracking.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
• Travel to multiple job sites daily.
