About The Position

Join Tyson Foods as an entry-level General Laborer at the Dakota City Plant in the Processing/Harvest facility. This role involves performing a variety of production tasks while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Work may take place in cold or hot environments, including temperatures from -10 to 105 degrees, and in wet areas. The position is available on all shifts. Candidates must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Ability to work 8–10 hours per day.
Comfort working in extreme temperatures and wet conditions.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including handling items weighing 40 to 80 pounds.
Willingness to use various tools and equipment for processing tasks.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of tasks in different departments within the Processing/Harvest facility.
Handle and move products by lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items weighing 40 to 80 pounds.
Work in varying conditions, including extreme cold or hot environments and wet areas.
Use knives and specialized hand tools to cut, trim, and process meat products according to production standards.
