About The Position

The General Laborer plays a vital role in supporting our environmental and construction projects by performing hands-on physical labor, assisting with site setup, and maintaining erosion control measures. This position requires a reliable individual who can safely operate equipment, transport materials between job sites, and ensure our projects remain clean, safe, and efficient.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean, acceptable driving record (required for driving company vehicles).
• Ability to follow direct instructions, work well as part of a team, and learn basic site maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, walk on uneven terrain, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in general labor, construction, landscaping, or outdoor physical work is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
• Experience towing a trailer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Correctly install essential erosion control and construction materials, including silt fences, straw wattles, and blankets.
• Perform routine physical labor, site clean-up, and repairs to existing site setups, particularly after weather events.
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and crew members to various local job sites.
• Safely use hand/power tools and assist with or learn to operate light machinery (e.g., skid steers, tractors, hydroseeders) as needed.
• Assist with hand-seeding, sod installation, and clearing vegetation to stabilize project sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site while strictly adhering to OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
