About The Position

McGill Compost is hiring a General Laborer for our facility in Morrisville, PA. This role is for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, staying active throughout the day, and being part of a team that takes pride in getting the job done right. As a General Laborer, you'll play an important role in supporting daily composting, production, and site operations. You'll assist with material handling, site maintenance, equipment cleanup, housekeeping, and supporting production personnel throughout the facility. This is a physically active position where reliability, teamwork, safety, and a strong work ethic are critical to success. Every day, your efforts help support the production of high-quality compost and soil products that benefit agriculture, landscaping, and the environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work safely in an outdoor industrial environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in composting, landscaping, agriculture, construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial operations
• Experience using hand tools and power tools

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties throughout the facility and compost site
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
• Remove debris and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the site
• Support equipment operators and production personnel as needed
• Assist with compost production and processing activities
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
