About The Position

Labor One Staffing is hiring General Laborers for a long-term shipyard project in Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves supporting marine and shipyard operations. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and willing to work aboard and around ships, including in confined spaces and at heights. The position offers hourly pay plus per diem, with overtime available. Lodging assistance and first- and second-shift availability are provided. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be willing to work aboard and around ships
• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
• Must be willing to work first or second shift
• Must have a strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
• Performing general cleaning duties
• Assisting with fire-watch duties onshore, aboard ships, and on other vessels
• Using mechanical or hand tools as needed
• Working in confined spaces and at heights
• Completing other general labor duties as assigned
