About The Position

Positive Pressure is seeking motivated and dependable General Laborers for a commercial construction project in Chantilly, Virginia. The position supports a crew of specialty painters by moving and staging materials, masking and protecting surfaces, and keeping the job site clean. Candidates should be reliable, follow instructions, and work safely. This full-time, project-based position is estimated to last 2–3 months, with an expected start date of November 16. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; overtime may be required based on project needs. Pay is $20 per hour. The position is classified as non-exempt and hourly.

Work takes place on an active commercial construction site and involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting. Respirator use may be required, and workers may be exposed to dust and construction debris. Medical evaluation and fit testing are provided if respirator use is required.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have reliable transportation to Chantilly, Virginia.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Be able to wear a respirator if required; medical evaluation and fit testing are provided.
• Have strong attendance and reliability.
• Be able to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous construction or general labor experience.
• OSHA 10.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage materials for the spray crew.
• Mask and protect surfaces before spraying.
• Clean work areas and remove debris throughout the shift.
• Follow supervisors’ instructions to complete manual labor tasks.
• Follow site safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Promptly report unsafe conditions and job site hazards to the supervisor.
