About The Position

This position will work with breeder servicemen and will supervise and monitor hatchery production, egg pickup, inventory, and egg breakout at the lowest possible cost. The position will be responsible for overseeing the production of healthy baby chicks for broiler grown out, maintaining accurate records, directing the workforce, hiring and training personnel, monitoring safety rules and regulations, setting schedules, observing all Bio-Security programs, and overseeing a safe working environment. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Two years’ experience in a processing or manufacturing environment.
• Must have knowledge of hatchery of baby chicks.
• Previous supervisory experience a must.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize and advise when unsafe conditions are observed.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Nice To Haves

• College Degree in related field preferred
