About The Position

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Yardworkers to support operations for a client in the metal recycling industry. This position is responsible for assisting with general labor duties throughout an outdoor industrial recycling facility, including housekeeping, material handling, sorting, and customer service support. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in a physically demanding outdoor environment.

Requirements

• Previous general labor, warehouse, recycling, or industrial experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in outdoor conditions year-round
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift up to approximately 50 pounds regularly
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties throughout the recycling yard and facility
• Sort, move, and organize recyclable materials safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards across the yard and work areas
• Assist customers with unloading and directing materials
• Support material handling operations using hand tools and equipment
• Follow all company safety procedures and site rules
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to maintain production flow
• Complete additional duties as assigned
