About The Position

The General Production Worker helps ensure high-quality food production by following proper food protocols and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role supports food safety and the safety of fellow employees while completing assigned production and packaging tasks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be willing and able to work flexible shifts and hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Be able to repeatedly stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, and reach, and lift or move up to 50 pounds if necessary.
• Be able to stand on a production line for extended periods.
• Be able to work in a cold, wet, and loud environment.
• Meet attendance expectations.
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate alpha and numeric matching skills.
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and write English (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate packing speed.
• Weigh containers and ensure finished goods have the correct weights, counts, and/or labels.
• Transfer ingredients to the appropriate destinations while meeting housekeeping standards.
• Complete assigned work within the scheduled time.
• Notify the Supervisor about equipment, safety, and production problems.
• Use a continuous improvement mindset and help identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Follow all required safe work practices.
• Attend required company-sponsored training programs and meetings, including safety meetings, GMP, and chemical handling training.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
