About The Position

This role involves performing various landscaping and general labor tasks to maintain campus grounds and assist with facility maintenance. Responsibilities include mowing, planting, pruning, cleaning equipment and grounds, snow removal, and assisting with building projects and equipment installation. The position requires adherence to safety procedures and company attendance policies.

Requirements

Ability to work from blueprints or instructions from supervisors.

Responsibilities

Mow, weed-eat, seed and sod campus grounds.
Perform various landscaping tasks such as spreading mulch, planting flowers, and pruning trees and shrubs.
Clean mowing and weed-eating equipment; clean up around campus grounds.
Clean snow and debris from sidewalks and pick up trash on DeRoyal property, or as assigned.
Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor including: Work on facility maintenance and building projects as assigned.
Perform assigned duties at various DeRoyal locations, as needed.
Assist in moving and installing manufacturing equipment, when needed.
Measures, marks, and arranges materials.
Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
Bring problems to attention of Grounds Manager, or other appropriate personnel.
Assist other people on the job site, as assigned.
Arrive at work on time and comply with company attendance and tardiness policies.
Possess ability to get along with co-workers, customers and company visitors.
