About The Position

This position involves performing various landscaping and general labor tasks to maintain the DeRoyal campus grounds and assist with facility maintenance. The role requires attention to safety, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively with others.

Requirements

Ability to work from blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
Measures, marks, and arranges materials.
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
Arrive at work on time and comply with company attendance and tardiness policies.
Possess ability to get along with co-workers, customers and company visitors.

Responsibilities

Mow, weed-eat, seed and sod campus grounds.
Perform various landscaping tasks such as spreading mulch, planting flowers, and pruning trees and shrubs.
Clean mowing and weed-eating equipment; clean up around campus grounds.
Clean snow and debris from sidewalks and pick up trash on DeRoyal property, or as assigned.
Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor including: Work on facility maintenance and building projects as assigned.
Perform assigned duties at various DeRoyal locations, as needed.
Assist in moving and installing manufacturing equipment, when needed.
Ability to work from blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
Measures, marks, and arranges materials.
Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Bring problems to attention of Grounds Manager, or other appropriate personnel.
Assist other people on the job site, as assigned.
Arrive at work on time and comply with company attendance and tardiness policies.
Possess ability to get along with co-workers, customers and company visitors.
