About The Position

This position is responsible for understanding and agreeing to follow safety rules. It requires the willingness to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds, work in damp, cold, or hot environments, and reach above shoulder level. The role involves standing for 8-10 hours a day, wearing required PPE (ear protection, hair net, beard guard), and maneuvering freely as needed. Good hand/eye coordination is necessary, as is the ability to climb steps/stairs. These positions are very fast-paced and require long periods of standing, walking, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and reaching in a cold, hot, wet, and slippery environment. Positions rotate throughout the department. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on any shift, such as day or evening. Overtime and weekends may be required. Some positions may involve cutting meat away from the bone using knives or scissors.

Must be able to perform the duties of the position
Be willing to stand 8- 10 hours a day
Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard
Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed
Must have good hand/eye coordination
Must be willing to climb up and down steps/stairs to get to and from the work areas when needed
Must be available to work overtime, and weekends as needed
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
