About The Position
This position is responsible for entry level nonskilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Positions are available in various departments, including first processing, packing, deboning, and labeling. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Certain roles at Tyson require background checks. - Perform physical requirements of the job including standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50+ pounds in some positions
- Use of a knife and/or scissors to bone out or trim pieces of product
- Use of powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines
