About The Position

BakeMark is hiring a General Labor employee to support warehouse and production operations. The role involves handling, sorting, storing, and packaging materials and products; assisting with inventory; maintaining a clean and orderly workspace; and supporting production using equipment, machinery, and assembly lines. Employees must follow applicable safety, GMP, and food-safety policies and procedures. This is a union position starting at $25.45 per hour, with benefits. Second- and third-shift options are available.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months to one year of general labor experience.
Electric pallet jack experience.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Load and unload materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, or trucks using a forklift, cherry picker, order selector, or manual handling.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Assist with counting physical inventory.
Sweep, dust, and mop, and keep the workspace and work area organized and orderly.
Assist in producing company products using equipment, machinery, and assembly lines as directed by the immediate supervisor and in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, government regulations, company safety manuals and policies, and common sense.
Follow all safety, GMP, and food-safety policies and procedures.
Pack finished goods into the correct packages, boxes, and containers, and attach appropriate labels and tags.
Perform work in a manner that prevents damage to company equipment, facilities, and products.
Maintain proper warehouse cleanliness at all times.
Perform other duties assigned to help meet company goals.
