About The Position

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is currently seeking temporary general labor for the summer to join our team in Sheldon, IA! This person will be responsible for assisting maintenance, performing tasks toward facility and grounds cosmetic improvements, and performing other tasks relating to sanitation and loading/unloading materials. Earn $21.20 per hour!

Requirements

Must be able to work Monday-Friday with potential weekends
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Must follow safety process and procedures
Must be at least 16 years old to apply

Employees under 18 will not be assigned hazardous duties, including operation of forklifts or other restricted equipment, in compliance with federal child labor laws.

Responsibilities

Compliance with all safety procedures
Loads and unloads materials into and from vehicles
Cleans and maintains equipment
Moves materials from storage or work site to designated area, using hand truck, or another non-prohibited device
Maintains inventory, records, and location of equipment
Keep all containment areas free of water and trash
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Provides general cleaning duties by taking out trash, cleaning up spills, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, and removing trash
Maintains grounds and parking areas such as picking up litter and debris.
Removes trash from the building on a regular schedule
Operates vehicles (for those over 18)
Moves materials from storage or work site to designated area, using hand truck, forklift, pallet jack, or other device as needed (for those over 18)
Maintains inventory, records and location of equipment and materials moved as needed (for those over 18)
Performs other duties as assigned by management (for those over 18)
