About The Position
Tyson Foods Complex Green Forest is accepting applications for general labor positions. Candidates must be willing to work in any processing department and on any available shift. Work takes place in processing areas that may be cold and damp or hot and humid, with potentially slippery walking surfaces. Some departments are on a lower level. The role may involve working on a platform or stand about two feet above floor level and using scissors and knives to cut chicken. Applicants must be willing and able to meet the physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation. Applicants who previously worked at Tyson must wait 365 days before reapplying and may have worked at Tyson no more than three times. Applicants who failed a drug screen must wait six months before reapplying. Some roles require background checks; further documentation is provided after an offer is extended. Hourly applicants must complete an additional task after submitting an application to provide information for consideration. An onsite medical clinic is available with zero co-pay for team members and their families. Relocation assistance is not available.
Requirements

- Willingness to use scissors and knives to cut chicken.
- Ability to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line.
- Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, reach, lift, and go up and down stairs.
- For rehires: a 365-day waiting period after previous Tyson employment; no more than three previous periods of employment at Tyson; and a six-month waiting period after a failed drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Work in any processing department as needed.
- Perform processing-line work, including cutting chicken with scissors and knives.
- Stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach as required.
- Go up and down stairs and work on a platform or stand about two feet above floor level.
- Lift items as required; weights depend on the work area.
