About The Position
The General Production Labor position provides hands-on support to production operations by performing a variety of manual and production-related tasks as assigned. This role supports product flow, quality, and efficiency while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies, food safety standards, and procedures in a fresh food manufacturing environment. The work environment includes fresh plant operations, working directly with raw, in-process, or packaged fresh product, adhering to strict food safety, sanitation, and contamination prevention standards, wearing required PPE, and working in temperature-controlled environments, including cold, wet, or humid conditions.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- Prior manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred
- Experience in food manufacturing or fresh plant operations a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned production tasks to support processing, packaging, and material handling operations
- Assist with product handling, sorting, stacking, and staging
- Maintain continuous product flow to prevent downtime or congestion
- Monitor product for quality defects and report concerns promptly
- Assist line operators with setup, changeovers, and general line support
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment
- Remove waste, scrap, and recyclable materials according to plant procedures
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructions
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control requirements
- Comply with OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies
- Use required PPE and follow safe work practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
