About The Position

This is a General Labor position at the White Bear Lake Box Facility. The role involves following all safety rules and practices, safely operating machinery, reading factory orders, and utilizing basic shop math. Responsibilities include quality and count inspection of finished product, housekeeping tasks such as blowing down machinery, wiping shafts, cleaning ink systems, sweeping, and shredding scrap. The position also requires completing quality and administrative document checks, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to work with a safety first mindset and actively participate in our safety culture
Must be 18 years or older
Must have a stable work history
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must be able to perform basic math
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Ability to work well with others

Nice To Haves

Previous work in a manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and practices
Safely operate machinery
Read factory orders
Utilize basic shop math such as accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other testing equipment
Consistent quality and count inspection of finished product
Housekeeping to include blowing down of machinery, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap
Complete quality and administrative document checks with accuracy to ensure specific directions are followed
Ability to work overtime as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
