About The Position

This position could work in any position of the Processing or Harvest departments. In Processing, the role involves working around meat products in an extreme cold and wet environment (33-49 degrees), potentially using knives, hooks, or powered equipment for tasks like boning, trimming, bagging, and boxing. In Harvest, the role involves working around cattle products in an extreme hot, wet, and humid environment (80-100 degrees), potentially using knives, hooks, powered equipment, or operating heavy machinery for tasks like hide removal and trimming. The Team Member must be willing to complete all required training and perform any other duties as assigned. This role requires the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds and stand for 8-10 hours a day. Availability for A Shift (5:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, including Saturdays) and overtime is required.

Work around meat environment (blood, fat, bones, hair, etc.).
Work in extreme cold and wet environments (33-49 degrees) for Processing.
Work in extreme hot, wet, and humid environments (80-100 degrees) for Harvest.
Available to work A Shift (5:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday including Saturdays).
Available for overtime.
Provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States.
Pass a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment.

Responsibilities

Work in any position of the Processing department, including tasks such as bagging and boxing product.
Work in any position of the Harvest department, including tasks such as removing hide from cattle, trimming product, or operating heavy equipment.
Use knives and hooks to bone out, trim product, or remove hides.
Use powered equipment such as saws, whizard knives, or skinner machines.
Complete all required training for the job.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
