This position could work in any position of the Processing or Harvest departments. In Processing, the role involves working around meat products in an extreme cold and wet environment (33-49 degrees), potentially using knives, hooks, or powered equipment for tasks like boning, trimming, bagging, and boxing. In Harvest, the role involves working around cattle products in an extreme hot, wet, and humid environment (80-100 degrees), potentially using knives, hooks, powered equipment, or operating heavy machinery for tasks like hide removal and trimming. The Team Member must be willing to complete all required training and perform any other duties as assigned. This role requires the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds and stand for 8-10 hours a day. Availability for A Shift (5:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, including Saturdays) and overtime is required.
