About The Position

Conagra Brands is hiring for a General Labor - Meat Processing associate to help produce Duke's Meat Snacks at their Macomb, MI manufacturing facility. The role involves working with raw materials to produce sausages, rotating through different positions in the meat processing area, weighing raw materials, mixing recipes, operating grinding machinery, racking sausages, and assisting with machinery setup and tear down. The position requires maintaining accurate records, working in a cold environment (39-44 degrees Fahrenheit), and helping with equipment sanitation and maintaining a clean work area. The associate will report to a Production Team Leader and join a team of 50. The shift is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, with some Saturdays as needed. The hourly rate is $17.50, with a $0.50 increase after 90 days. The anticipated close date is June 16, 2026.

Requirements

The ability to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs
At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility

Responsibilities

Work with raw materials to help complete the process of making Duke's sausages
Rotate through different positions within the meat processing area
Weigh raw materials
Mix recipes
Operate meat grinding machinery
Rack raw sausages onto fixtures for cooking
Help with the set up and tear down of machinery
Maintain accurate records and paperwork
Work in a cold environment with temperatures ranging from 39-44 degrees Fahrenheit
Help with equipment sanitation and maintain a clean work area
