About The Position

Conagra Brands is hiring a Packaging team member to help produce Duke's Smoked Meats at their Macomb, MI manufacturing facility. This role is on the 1st shift, working 6am-4pm Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The hourly rate is $17.50, with a $0.50 raise after 90 days. Benefits start on day one, and pay is weekly. Requirements

• Work in a cold environment (40-45 degrees)
• Repeatedly lift up to 40lbs
• Wear required personal protective equipment and safety footwear
• Most tasks require bending, lifting, and reaching
• Stand for long periods of time
• Reliable Attendance
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Rotate through a variety of jobs, including: De-linking cooked sausage, Bulk sausage packaging, Hand-packing cases, Palletizing/labeling finished product
• Follow Quality Assurance standards to ensure a safe food product
• Participate in safety teams and be engaged in safety practices
• Develop improvement processes and efficiencies for production lines
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork
