About The Position

Conagra Brands is hiring for a General Labor - Meat Processing associate to help produce Duke's Meat Snacks at their manufacturing facility in Macomb, MI. The role involves working with raw materials, operating machinery, and maintaining a clean work environment. This position reports to a Production Team Leader and is part of a team of 50. The shift is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays. The work environment is cold, with temperatures ranging from 39-44 degrees Fahrenheit.

Requirements

• The ability to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility
• Reliable attendance

Responsibilities

• Work with raw materials to help complete the process of making Duke's sausages
• Rotate through different positions within the meat processing area
• Weigh raw materials
• Mix recipes
• Operate meat grinding machinery
• Rack raw sausages onto fixtures for cooking
• Help with the set up and tear down of machinery
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork
• Work in a cold environment with temperatures ranging from 39-44 degrees Fahrenheit
• Help with equipment sanitation and maintain a clean work area
