General Labor - Gatekeeper 1st shift
About The Position
Works in a production and assembly area preparing components for use in assembly and production areas and tracking components through the production process. The position performs assembly-line, production, packaging, and operational sanitation work according to specifications, and documents products going to the production line. This is a first-shift role operating Monday through Friday from 4:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Employees are on the production floor for the full shift and must alert operators, leads, or supervisors to quality or safety issues and work safely at all times. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ability to stand and operate tools or controls regularly.
- Ability to occasionally sit, walk, stoop, crouch, and, where required, ascend or descend stairs.
- Ability to occasionally move up to 25 pounds with a hoist, pallet jack, or cart and regularly lift up to 15 pounds.
- Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Work on assembly lines and perform production and packaging tasks in various capacities according to specifications.
- Document products going to the production line.
- Physically move products to and from the production line.
- Perform operational sanitation work.
- Alert operators, leads, or supervisors to quality or safety issues.
- Work safely at all times.
- Remain on the production floor for 100% of the shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
