If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery-Production team member to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. In this role, you will support consistent, safe, and high-quality food production by monitoring automated systems, verifying product quality, maintaining sanitation standards, and communicating adjustments needed to ensure compliant and efficient manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality or process deviations
  • Basic mechanical awareness and ability to report equipment issues
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to follow GMPs, food safety, and safety procedures
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in bakery or food manufacturing operations
  • Experience working with automated or continuous production lines
  • Familiarity with proofing, baking, cooling, or weighing processes
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing activities
  • Ability to train or support others using standard work procedures

Responsibilities

  • Monitor automated production systems and key process parameters to ensure consistent, high-quality output
  • Inspect products throughout the line to verify quality, spacing, alignment, and weight specifications
  • Communicate process deviations, equipment concerns, or quality issues promptly to line leadership
  • Maintain sanitation, food safety, and GMP standards across assigned production areas
  • Support efficient material flow and equipment performance across proofing, baking, and cooling operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through AOE practices, Centerline, CIL, and root cause analysis participation
  • Uphold a safe, organized, and compliant work environment at all times
