If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery – Packing (Grandi Paddler/Inspector) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As a General Labor team member, you will be accountable for ensuring frozen products are properly aligned and inspected before entering the automated vision system, helping maintain product quality, equipment efficiency, and a safe production environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills and timekeeping ability
- Ability to make sound, logical decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs and frequently carry 20+ lbs
- Willingness to work in varying conditions (cold, wet, noisy, or confined spaces)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Experience working with automated production equipment
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Experience training or mentoring new employees
Responsibilities
- Inspect and position frozen products to ensure proper flow into the automated vision system
- Remove defective or improperly aligned products to prevent equipment jams and maintain efficiency
- Monitor equipment condition and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area in compliance with GMP standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments to resolve issues
- Support production goals by following schedules, minimizing waste, and maintaining efficiency
- Participate in team activities, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
