If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery– Production to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a General Labor team member, you will be accountable for ensuring dough and baked products are properly shaped, aligned, and meet quality specifications throughout the production process while supporting safe, efficient operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or within a team
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs (with assistance up to 100 lbs)
  • Ability to work in environments with temperature changes, noise, and flour dust exposure

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced production or food manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with automated production equipment
  • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure product quality and specifications from proofing through baking and packing stages
  • Operate and oversee scoring systems and perform manual scoring when required
  • Inspect, align, and adjust products on production lines to maintain proper spacing and positioning
  • Track and report production performance issues, equipment concerns, and deviations to leadership
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across production, oven, and packing areas
  • Perform ongoing quality checks including weight verification and documentation of line checks
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, standard work adherence, and waste reduction efforts
