If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery – Packing (Grandi Paddler/Inspector) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As a General Labor, Bakery – Packing (Grandi Paddler/Inspector), you will be accountable for ensuring frozen products are properly aligned, inspected, and quality-checked prior to entering automated systems, supporting safe, efficient production while minimizing equipment disruptions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math and timekeeping skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and make sound decisions
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently carry over 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (cold, wet, hot, noisy, or dusty)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Experience working with automated production equipment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and align frozen bakery products to ensure accurate flow into automated systems
  • Maintain product quality by identifying and removing non-conforming items
  • Operate and monitor production equipment to support efficient manufacturing processes
  • Communicate production issues and deviations to supervisors and team members
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with GMP standards
  • Support shift transitions and ensure continuous production readiness
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve safety, quality, and production targets
