Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in IT or related field with 0-4 years of job experience required
  • Relevant areas of study may include Nursing, Medical Technology, Radiology, Mathematics, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory, Pharmacy, or Medicine
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new systems, programming concepts, and healthcare technologies
  • Must be willing to commute and work "in-person" often at the Dayton, Ohio area offices

  • Project Management Certification is encouraged
  • Formal training and certification in one Clarity data model within 12 months of hire; certification must be maintained to remain qualified
  • Formal training and certification in EPIC Bridges within 12 months of hire; certification must be maintained to remain qualified
  • Formal training and certification in Rhapsody (Beginner Certification) within 12 months of hire
  • Years of experience will be considered in lieu of formal education

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, program, test, implement, and support IT systems and applications in a healthcare environment
  • Assist in troubleshooting system issues and resolving technical problems in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and clinical needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Support application interfaces, reporting tools, and data workflows as assigned
  • Document programming logic, system changes, technical procedures, and support materials
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance activities
  • Help ensure data integrity, system reliability, and compliance with organizational standards
  • Provide ongoing support to users and assist with training or knowledge transfer when needed
  • Contribute to project work and process improvement initiatives across IT and operational teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned
