About The Position

As the Single or Dual Craft General Industrial Mechanic, you will provide electrical and or mechanical skills for installation, repair, servicing, and updating of electrical and/or mechanical devices and/or equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for this position. ICL is accepting Single Craft Mechanics candidates currently, with the expectations becoming Dual Craft of 18 to 24 months from hire date. Dual craft hire will receive premium compensation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a single or dual craft, or a 2-year technical degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related field. Candidates currently pursuing a technical degree must complete it by May 31, 2026.
  • Basic electrical skills include: proficiency in AC/DC theory and analysis, power distribution, troubleshooting motor and machine control circuits, wiring and conduit installation, blueprint reading, and familiar with Allen Bradley PLC (PLC-5 and ControlLogix) software.
  • Basic electronic skills include: essentials of industrial electronics, fundamentals of process instrumentation, and digital logic.
  • Basic mechanical skills include: proficiency in industrial, mechanical and millwright practices, sheet metal practices, pipe fitting, blueprint reading, electric arc welding and centrifugal pump overhaul and seal replacement, troubleshooting proficiency with rotating equipment, knowledge of lifting and rigging.
  • Rotating shift work is involved.
