About The Position

ESS Support Services Worldwide is hiring a full-time General Helper at Nevada Gold – JD Lodge, located 40 miles south of Carlin, Eureka, Nevada. The role supports facility operations in a remote location by providing housekeeping, kitchen, food-preparation, and guest-service assistance. The schedule is rotational: 28 days on and 14 days off. Meals and lodging are provided. Pay is $12.27 to $13.00 per hour. General Helpers maintain clean, safe, and sanitary guest rooms, common areas, kitchen spaces, and dining areas. They may assist with basic food preparation, dishwashing, beverage and bar setup, and replenishing supplies. The role also includes providing attentive service to guests, clients, and coworkers and complying with applicable sanitation and liquor regulations. Prior housekeeping, remote camp, offshore, or restaurant experience is preferred; prior housekeeping or dishwashing experience is noted as preferred in the hiring details.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and kitchen spaces to high standards.
Launder, fold, and organize linens, and ensure beds and rooms are guest-ready.
Assist with basic food preparation, dishwashing, and kitchen cleanup.
Stock and replenish supplies in rooms, kitchen, and storage areas.
Remove trash and recyclables and maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
Set up and restock beverage stations, condiments, and dining areas.
Maintain sanitary standards in accordance with company, client, and government requirements.
Provide friendly, helpful service to guests, clients, and team members.
Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests.
Set up assigned bar and stock beer, wine, paper products, straws, stirrers, glassware, and ice.
Take and/or process drink orders and practice prudent portion control.
Provide quality customer service through one-on-one attention to detail.
Advise management of purchasing needs, minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
Perform other functions and duties as assigned.
