About The Position
The General Helper supports production and assembly teams by performing basic material handling, preparatory tasks, and general shop duties. The role assists operators, keeps work areas organized, performs simple inspections, and helps maintain smooth workflow while following safety and quality practices across the shop floor. The position is with Krieger Specialty Products, a manufacturer of special-purpose doors and windows applications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to stand for long periods and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Good teamwork, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Nice To Haves
- Prior manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience.
