About The Position

Packaging Corporation of America is hiring for a General Help role supporting its manufacturing operations. The position helps improve productivity and reduce downtime, assists with plant and facility tasks, and performs other duties assigned by management. The role requires working across several different tasks from day to day and following all safety and lock-out/tag-out procedures.

The available schedules are second shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and third shift, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read and understand basic English instructions.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
• Assist with plant and facility tasks while following safety and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Perform tasks as assigned by management.
• Work on several different tasks from day to day.

• Starting pay of $28.25 per hour.
• Annual bonus based on achievement of plant performance metrics.
