About The Position

Smurfit Westrock is hiring a General Help-Other employee to perform a variety of manufacturing tasks in a corrugated packaging operation. The role includes stacking corrugated product, conducting quality checks, setting up materials, and keeping the workspace clean and organized. The successful candidate will work safely, learn manufacturing processes and operate various equipment, and contribute to production goals as part of a fast-paced team. The position offers opportunities to learn and advance within the company.

Candidates must be available to work multiple shifts, overtime, and weekends. The starting rate is $24.16 per hour, depending on role, level, location, and other factors. Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen; drug screening occurs after a conditional offer and before employment begins. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability for multiple shifts, overtime, and weekends.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds; navigate stairs; and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the shift.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
