About The Position
This is a part-time role where you will be responsible for supporting daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing. As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will perform housekeeping duties, assist with food preparation and kitchen cleanliness, and perform duties according to health & safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
- Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
- Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management.
