About The Position

This is a part-time position focused on customer service and maintaining the cleanliness and stock levels of cafe and micro-market areas. Responsibilities include interacting with customers, resolving complaints, ensuring service areas are stocked and clean, operating equipment, and maintaining inventory and safety standards.

Requirements

Ability to observe customer purchases and differentiate between standard portions.
Ability to operate equipment such as cash registers, calculators, coolers, coffee makers, coffee grinders and drink machines.
Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards, and company inventory and cash control procedures.
Ability to deliver orders to designated floors during service hours.
Ability to maintain all HSQA records, such as, hot and cold temp logs, time and temperature logs as per job requirements.
Ability to maintain stock levels of items within the Micro-markets, including but not limited to milk and cold beverages as required.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
Observe customer purchases and differentiate between standard portions.
Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
Organize chairs in seating areas and wipe all tables.
Ensure sufficient silverware and polish as necessary, prioritizing customer service.
Operate equipment such as cash registers, calculators, coolers, coffee makers, coffee grinders, and drink machines.
Replenish and restock refrigerator and coffee and tea services during and after operations.
Stock services with impulse items, beverages, and merchandise stations with add-ons.
Interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
Deliver orders to designated floors during service hours.
Ensure cleanliness of workspace and surrounding area by performing cleaning duties in the cafe.
Maintain all HSQA records, such as hot and cold temp logs, and time and temperature logs.
Maintain stock levels of items within the Micro-markets, including milk and cold beverages.
Attend weekly safety talk meetings.
Complete the weekly cleaning checklist.
Complete all required 24/7 training.
