About The Position

The General Help/Loader plays a critical role in the support of our Distribution team. The General Help/Loader will load and unload products, pick products for route drivers, count inventory, ensure efficiency and accuracy in product pulling, maintain cleanliness in the work area, and work collaboratively with the team.

Requirements

• Ability to efficiently load and unload product and bakery items.
• Skill in accurately selecting and preparing products for dispatch.
• Proficiency in conducting thorough inventory counts.
• Accuracy and neatness in completing paperwork (load sheets, block sheets).
• Ability to perform trailer checks, including sweeping and checking for damage.
• Capability to inform supervisors of floor inventory of empty trays and other equipment.
• High standards of efficiency and precision in product allocation.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
• Adherence to safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Inform supervisors in advance of the floor inventory of empty trays and other equipment.
• Uphold the highest standards of efficiency and precision in all tasks, particularly when allocating products for specific routes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
