About The Position
This role involves supporting daily operations through various tasks including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing. As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will maintain the cleanliness of residents' rooms and common areas, assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs and tables, serve meals, deliver trays to residents, perform dishwashing, and maintain kitchen cleanliness. You will also perform duties according to health and safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately, and fulfill other reasonable requests from management.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset.
- Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred.
