About The Position
Falcon Manufacturing, a division of NOA Brands America, Inc., is a custom fabrication facility producing sheet metal, tubing, and wire components. The company serves large-volume clients through its trained staff, manufacturing technology, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing. Falcon is seeking a General Help team member for its Metal Shop. The role offers an opportunity to learn from experienced operators while assisting across production workstations and machine centers. The position is full-time in Somerset, New Jersey, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Overtime may be required as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner.
- Ability to thrive in an evolving, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Dependable.
- Energetic and eager to learn.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to sit, walk, and stand for long shifts of up to 10 hours.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work in a noisy environment and varying temperatures.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in metal shop production.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of equipment and ability to read blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials.
- Assist other employees or machine centers as needed.
- Maintain the work area.
- Perform other related duties or work at a different workstation as production needs require.
