The General Foreman oversees and coordinates the daily activities of construction crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, adhering to Primoris Energy Services standards. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced vocational training or construction management certification preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in heavy civil or energy infrastructure construction, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role as a Foreman or General Foreman.
Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct large crews.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and safety regulations (OSHA, pipeline safety regulations, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using construction management software and standard office applications.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding outdoor environment.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites as required.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Relevant heavy equipment operation certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise and manage multiple construction crews and foremen on various energy services projects, including pipelines, facilities, and civil infrastructure.
Plan, schedule, and assign work tasks, ensuring efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of work.
Implement and enforce all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget.
Coordinate with project management, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets established standards and specifications.
Train, mentor, and develop crew members, fostering a high-performance and safety-conscious work environment.
Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and other required documentation.
Manage equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring all machinery is in safe and operational condition.
Resolve on-site conflicts and issues effectively and professionally.
Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and best practices.
