About The Position

Oversee and direct all electrical field operations for Primoris Energy Services projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and budget. This role involves direct supervision of electrical crews and collaboration with project management to deliver successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification in relevant states.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role (Foreman or Lead Electrician).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks associated with electrical construction.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, lead, and mentor electrical craft personnel, including electricians, apprentices, and laborers.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily electrical work activities, including material procurement and equipment allocation.
  • Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Monitor and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, conducting daily safety briefings and hazard assessments.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the electrical installation process, performing regular inspections and addressing deficiencies.
  • Track and report on project progress, labor hours, and material usage to project management.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions in the field.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and other trades.
  • Train and develop electrical crew members, fostering a skilled and productive workforce.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and other project documentation.
  • Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to constructability reviews.
