The technician will be responsible for regular preventive maintenance, adhering to food safety and personal safety guidelines, and providing both scheduled and unscheduled repairs on production equipment. The position requires diagnosing problems, replacing and repairing parts, and ensuring machinery runs smoothly. The technician will also detect faulty operations and defective materials, report findings, and utilize a variety of hand and power tools. Effective interaction with other departments and peers is essential, and daily work orders are expected to be completed.
