About The Position

This position is for a General Education Paraprofessional at Maple Grove Elementary School, working 3.5 hours per day. The role involves supervising students and working with them individually or in group settings under the direction of professional staff. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Two year post secondary education or Paraeducator certificate or qualifying score on NCRC assessment test required.
• Willingness to assume responsibility.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Flexibility in working with classroom teachers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Enjoy working with young people.
• Ability to effectively supervise students while maintaining a positive relationship with them.
• Regular attendance.
