Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide dental services for patients of all ages.
Perform dental exams and provide general and emergency dental care.
Perform regular cleanings, scaling, and prophylaxis.
Perform scaling and root planing (deep cleaning).
Advise patients about preventative dental care and the causes and treatment of dental problems.
Diagnose and treat oral diseases and injuries using dental instruments.
Diagnose conditions from x-rays.
Conduct oral cancer screenings.
Perform amalgam and composite restorations.
Place fillings and perform pit and fissure sealants.
Perform socket preservations, extractions, and minor oral surgeries.
Perform root canals, including on anterior teeth, premolars, and molars.
Prepare and deliver crowns, bridges, and veneers.
Construct full and partial dentures.
Provide comprehensive treatment plans.
