About The Position

The Foreman is responsible for providing direct supervision and coordination of construction or extraction crews, ensuring project execution aligns with safety standards, timelines, and quality expectations. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and related materials, utilizing both hand tools and power equipment. The individual must be proficient in operating woodworking machinery and fabricating components to precise specifications.

Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent.
2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Valid driver's license.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures.
Good mathematical skills and mechanical abilities.
Ability to perform manual construction work and equipment operation.
Knowledge and experience with computer programs (Procore, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

Apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
Apprentice Carpenter.
Journeyman Carpenter.
State-issued CDL.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of construction or extractive workers.
Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or plan procedures.
Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met.
Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment.
Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
