About The Position

Under direct supervision, performs general office support and non-complex clerical duties following established procedures and detailed instructions and knowledge of automated systems. This role involves providing clerical support to supervisors, maintaining office and departmental files, processing documents, and retrieving file content. The position requires basic communication skills and follows established policies and procedures with minimal independent judgment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months to 1 year of work experience
  • HTML
  • Microsoft Office
  • Chancery
  • Office equipment (e.g., computer, copier)
  • Ability to carry and/or lift less than 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clerical support to one or more supervisors.
  • Maintains general office and departmental files, following up on misplaced, misdirected, or misfield materials.
  • Processes documents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Looks up files and retrieves content as requested.
  • May transfer files to storage and set up new files as directed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
