About The Position

This role performs services as they relate to document conversion, document destruction, records management and storage and mailroom functions. This position follows clearly detailed specific procedures in completing several repetitive clerical steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six (6) months of general work experience, data entry experience a plus
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening, as required
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer physical abilities assessment
  • Must be able to pass a government background investigation, including credit check, as required
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust security clearance
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and apply sound judgment to interpret and execute written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
  • Maintain reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance.
  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in reading comprehension and keyboarding.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to repetitively lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to push, pull, and transport materials using assistive equipment on a repetitive basis.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain focus on tasks such as daily report reconciliation

Responsibilities

  • Perform document scanning and related processing tasks.
  • Transfer files in and out and manage physical interfiling activities.
  • Perform basic computer-based tasks.
  • Enter data and update reports and databases as needed.
  • Answer and document incoming phone requests when required.
  • Process requests for file retrieval and distribution.
  • Load and unload boxes of files from trucks, shelving, and storage areas.
  • Conduct batch audits and electronic file merging activities.
  • Meet and maintain established production and quality standards.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
